1026 Starting Platform

Designed and produced for the Australian Institute of Sport

 

Winner of a 2007 Australian Design Mark, (now called 'Good Design') the platform was designed for the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), for their new Aquatic Training and Testing Centre in Canberra.

 

It was designed for elite swimmers who train and complete at national and international levels. It was designed from a clean sheet to accommodate not only the contemporary requirements in elite swimming, but also to facilitate exploration into future directions and initiatives in training and high performance.
